AOMEI vs EaseUS in 2026: Backup and Partition Tools Compared

A research-based comparison of AOMEI Backupper and Partition Assistant with EaseUS Todo Backup and Partition Master, built from the vendors' own pages: free editions, paid features and licence terms. Not lab-tested.

By UtilRank Editorial • Updated: 2026-10-18

AOMEI and EaseUS sell very similar disk tools: backup software and partition managers, each with a free edition and paid upgrades. Choosing between them comes down to what the free version already does, which features sit behind a paid edition and how the licences work.

This page compares the two using what each vendor states on its own product pages. We did not benchmark them ourselves.

How this comparison was made

  • This is a research-based comparison, not a lab test. We did not run speed or reliability tests.
  • Every claim comes from the vendors' own pages, listed at the bottom, as read on 18 October 2026. Where a page does not say something, we write "not stated".
  • We do not publish prices. They change and differ by country. Each section links to the vendor's page so you can see the current offer for your region.

Quick answers

What the vendors say each free edition covers

  • AOMEI Backupper Standard: automatic, incremental and event-triggered backups, plus cloning a data disk or partition.
  • EaseUS Todo Backup Free: one-click system, disk and file backup.
  • AOMEI Partition Assistant Standard: resize, move, extend, shrink and merge partitions, disk cloning and MBR to GPT conversion.
  • EaseUS Partition Master Free: adjusting disk space, creating and merging partitions and cloning an SSD.

What neither tool replaces

  • A backup you never test restoring is not a backup. Try a restore before you need one.
  • Backups should live on a different drive or location from the original data.
  • Backup tools do not recover deleted files. That is a different kind of software.
